Grass Fed Beef

The fact that we have to say “grass fed” actually makes me a little sad. “Grass fed beef” should be a given, like “flower fed bee” or “steak fed wife.” Our cows eat grass just as nature intended, and we eat the cows that eat grass. Again, it’s just as nature intended.

It may be a bit of a cliché, but our cows are Texas longhorns. Yes, they look cool and iconic, but they are also known for their gentle nature and their ability to thrive on grass. Descended from the first cows brought to North America by Christopher Columbus himself, Texas Longhorns learned to fend for themselves.

At our place, they still fend for themselves. We mainly leave them alone to eat as much grass as they want, admire each other’s horns (they are actually pretty impressive), and find shade when it’s hot. We don’t chase them around trying to give them shots, or feed them stuff they shouldn’t eat like corn or antibiotics.

We let nature take its course, and this means we have the most delicious, clean and healthy beef you can get for you and your family.
